This ten-day guided railtour starts its journey in Vancouver and travels through one of the most beautiful and diverse landscapes in the world. The railtour changes to a day cabin aboard BC Ferries as you travel to the Queen Charlotte Islands, a group of islands nestled under the Alaska panhandle.

This vast wilderness is home to a full range of carnivores, including grizzly bears, mountain lions, eagles, wolves and wolverines. This is the ancestral home of the Haida, a UNESCO Heritage Site with the oldest and finest examples of totem poles in the world.

The group railtour package starts in Vancouver in then to Jasper in the Rockies, Prince George, Prince Rupert ending in the Queen Charlotte Islands for three days. Passengers return by flight to Vancouver.

Departure Dates & Duration of Trip

Trips depart Vancouver every Tuesdays, starting June 3th, 2008 - arriving in Sandspit, Queen Charlotte Island for 3 days on day 6 of 10 day guided tour package (every Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday) through to September 15th, 2008. Boat in & Fly out and Fly-in tours to the Unesco site and day tours to the hot springs, Skedans and chartered fishing.
